Welcome To Arley Primary School
I consider it a great privilege to be the Head teacher at Arley Primary School, to lead a team of dedicated and talented staff, work alongside committed and forward-thinking Governors and most of all to serve the children and families in our community.
Our school is a happy, vibrant and successful place to be. We place children at the heart of everything that we do and our commitment to the academic, social, emotional, spiritual and moral development of each child is reflected in the vision and values we have developed together.
We believe in children developing as active participants in their learning and encourage pupil voice to stimulate thinking skills and develop resilience and independence. Our curriculum is designed to emphasise key skills that sit at the foundation of learning, to be built upon, enhanced and mastered through exciting and engaging teaching and learning.
I strongly believe that schools are at their best when they work together with all stakeholders and listen to ideas, comments and opinions of others. I am proud to say that we are a ‘listening’ school. If you would like more information, would like to arrange a visit to look around school or would just like an informal chat please contact the school office and this can be arranged.
I look forward to seeing you in the future.
Vision and Value
This is our vision:
As each new day begins - endless possibilities lie before us – to be the very best that we can be through hard work, commitment, dedication and aspiration. This is the vision for Arley Primary School. As a school community we shared our ideas, discussed our hopes and dreams and together take ownership of the future we build for and with our children.
These are our values:
Our new school values are built upon the vision: kindness, respect, independence, empathy, resilience, honesty, tolerance and positivity. These will form the ‘Arley 8’ and sit at the heart of the culture in our school
